Join us for a lovely yoga retreat in Florence, Venice and Tuscany, Italy. We will spend 3 nights in Florence, take a day trip to Venice, followed by a relaxing week Tuscany. Enjoy the art and architecture of Florence, the romance of Venice, and the awe inspiring landscape, artistic heritage and famous villages of Tuscany. In Florence we will stay at the centrally located Hotel L'Orologio Firenze where you will have plenty of time to explore all Florence has to offer. The main attractions of the city of Florence and the historic centre can be reached within a few minutes' walk from the Hotel L'Orologo, whilst the Basilica of Santa Maria Novella and Santa Maria Novella train station are within 300 metres. Palazzo Strozzi, the Duomo (Cathedral) and the Ponte Vecchio can be reached in less than ten minutes' walk. We will take the train to Venice, where it is said visitors are transported into another world, one whose atmosphere and beauty remain incomparable. Built entirely upon water, its streets are really wide canals that run throughout the entire city. We will have a guided city tour followed by free time to enjoy the City. In Tuscany, we will stay at an 1100 acre organic farm, Tenuta di Spannocchia, located on a nature reserve in the hills of Tuscany. Discover medieval village and castles, indulge in local wine, cheese, olive oil and other food traditions or simple settle in with a paint brush, journal or book and let the Tuscan landscape awaken your creativity. Practice yoga in the midst of thousands of years of art and culture, nature and nourishment, and let yoga in Tuscany take your breath away.

We are happy to have Lela and Jed Hughes once again assist us with the Retreat. In addition, Jed (a professional musician) will delight and soothe us with his beautiful singing and Lela (RYT 500) will guide hikes and teach yoga.

The Retreat includes: 3 Hotel nights with breakfast and morning meditation in Florence; a day trip to Venice with a guided Tour; meditation and yoga in the morning and afternoons in Tuscany; 3 organic, delicious Tuscan meals daily while staying at Tenuta di Spannocchia - including a four-course dinner served nightly at 7:30pm with wine served on the terrace at 7pm; day trips to the medieval castle towns San Gimignano and Siena, and to Castiglione della Pescaia on the Tyrrhenian Sea. Depending on group interest, shorter forays to nearby thermal baths, gardens, sculpture parks and wineries will be an option.
